Dr. Aldina Jakupovic is an optometrist who is well trained in comprehensive optometric care for both the adult and pediatric populations. She has also been well trained in co-management of patients before and after surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery. Dr. Jakupovic provides complete ocular health examinations along with contact lens fittings. She provides care for patients with a wide variety of ocular diseases including uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, keratoconus, etc. Dr. Jakupovic fits soft spherical/toric/multifocal contacts lenses along with specialty lenses for keratoconus and transplant patients.
Dr. Aldina Jakupovic attended Georgia State University, where she majored in biology. Dr. Jakupovic then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry. While in optometry school, she was inducted in the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and received clinical honors in primary eye care. She completed her internship training at The Birmingham VA in Birmingham, AL, Gainesville Eye Associates in Gainesville, GA, and Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, GA.
